This three-month program is designed for individuals ready to break free from compulsive sexual behaviors by developing transparency, self-awareness, and emotional regulation—the foundation for lasting recovery.
Through weekly individual therapy, daily check-ins, assigned readings, and group support, you’ll gain the tools needed to align your actions with your values and restore integrity in your relationships.
What to Expect Month by Month
Month 1: Establishing Transparency & Awareness
- Weekly Individual Therapy – Explore the underlying emotional and relational needs driving compulsive behaviors.
- Disclosing Acting-Out Behaviors to Key People – You’ll be supported in sharing past behaviors with those necessary for your long-term recovery (spouse, partner, friends, or accountability group).
- ❗Note: This program does not include the full Formal Disclosure Process (as used in traditional CSAT models). Instead, you will focus on initial transparency, with the option to pursue formal disclosure afterward if necessary.
- First Assigned Reading (Neurobiology & Addiction) – Understand how compulsive behaviors impact brain function and create a cycle of addiction.
- Twice-Daily Check-Ins (Monday–Friday, 10 min each) – Practicing guided meditation, affect regulation, and urge tracking to shift unconscious behaviors into conscious decision-making.
- Begin Attending a Recovery Group (SAA, SA, or Private Process Group) – Build community support and gain insights from others who are further along in recovery.
Month 2: Strengthening Emotional Regulation & Self-Compassion
- Weekly Individual Therapy – Deepen self-awareness around attachment wounds and emotional triggers fueling addiction.
- Second Assigned Reading (Attachment & Healing) – Learn how early relational experiences influence emotional regulation and intimacy struggles.
- Continued Daily Check-Ins – Strengthening skills for tracking and managing urges without relapse.
Review of Initial Disclosures – Process reactions and challenges with your therapist and assess whether formal disclosure is necessary.
Month 3: Moving Toward Repair & Long-Term Change
- Weekly Individual Therapy – Develop skills for relational repair, accountability, and rebuilding trust.
- Third Assigned Reading (Empathy & Rebuilding Trust) – Gain compassion for yourself and those impacted by your behaviors to foster meaningful change.
- Refining Check-In Practices – Strengthening self-facilitated regulation tools for long-term success.
Action Plan for Long-Term Recovery – Create a structured post-intensive plan for continued therapy, accountability, and relationship healing.
